Appearance
Facial Appearance
Valkyrie has dark skin, dark brown hair, and blue eyes. She has white markings above and below her eyes.
Valkyrie's Rank 1 appearance is a cropped blue vest over an olive green shirt. She wears black pants and black flats, and has a gray sweatshirt tied around her waist. She wears metal cuffs on her wrists and a ring on her left index finger. Her hair is tied up in a ponytail.
Valkyrie's Rank 3 appearance is very similar to the armor she wears while on Sakaar in Thor: Ragnarok.
Valkyrie's Rank 5 appearance is the traditional armor she wears in Thor: Ragnarok. Her hair is now down, resting on her chest in two braids.
Story
Brunnhilde is the last of the Valkyries. She joined Avengers Academy to collect Hela's soul. After joining the Academy, she recruited some of her fellow Avengers in order to form a new team of Valkyries to battle Hela: Sif, Thor (Jane Foster), America Chavez, and Angela.
Beyond the immediate threat of Hela's invasion, Valkyrie sensed the imminent death of everyone in the Ten Realms. Concerned it could be the beginning of Ragnarok, she asked Loki to find the catalyst that starts the Ragnarok prophecy. Loki identified Garmr, a Hel Hound asleep in the underworld, as the catalyst. When he awakes, his howl signals the beginning of Ragnarok. To prevent this, Valkyrie assembled her team of new Valkyries. They invaded the underworld, defeated Hela's guards, and gave Garmr belly rubs to prevent him from howling.
