Hello! Would it be possible to edit the wiki's main drop-down menus? Since Avengers Academy 2.0 places such heavy emphasis on combat, I think it would behoove us to have a direct link to pages such as Combat Attributes in a prominent, easy to access location. Thank you!
That sounds like a good idea! Unfortunately it seems like it might be out of my skillset--I was able to add Combat Abilities to the top navigation bar, but it seems like it's only affecting this page alone. :/ Maybe if I leave it alone for a while, the rest of the wikia will fall in line...?
I don't suppose you have access to the Admin dashboard? There's a button in there to edit Top Navigation. OTL
Hello! Question for you... what are your thoughts on team articles? For example, there are references to teams such as A-Force and Defenders in game. Recently, users have been building articles for the different teams. Is this something we want to pursue and robust? I think the majority of the information they provide are mostly covered on the Events and Character question line articles. Here's a few examples: Defenders, A-Force, Guardians of the Galaxy, Masters of the Mystic Arts.
Hi! We talked about this on your message wall before . As mentioned then, here's the policy for creating new categories:
"Our rules with Categories are to keep things as simple as possible & stay with in-game groupings only. We add new categories for each new event and that's pretty much it. Over-tagging would just cause confusion."
Additionally, the style guide explicitly states that you should ask a mod before creating any new category/tag.
Ack, sorry, the notification for this got buried in my email inbox.
I think the team pages are okay. It seems like they'd just be an expansion of things we'd been including (piecemeal) on the tag pages. As long as it only contains characters who were on those teams in game, it should be fine.
Hello! Could you please address user Techout. Since creating their account five days ago, this user posted false information to articles and used their blog to attack other members. I gave them a warning, and they denied their behavior, and began posting non-AVAC content to character gallery. It may be worth noting that this user's behavior also got them banned at another wiki community this week. Thank you.
Hi, thanks for letting me know about this! (also all those links are awesome!)
I'd thought this response was a little weird, but I'm sorry they've been going around causing trouble for the rest of the wiki. I've banned them for 6 months; if you still have problems after that, please let me know.
I am starting to make pages for the teams of Avengers Academy snf I don't know how to make new Infobox Templates, but I would like it if someone is capable of doing so for Teams. This could be the list for the Infobox.
Hello! User Felipe06enero keeps vandalizing the Black Widow and Captain America character pages with false info. They did it under an anon IP address and then created an account and are continuing to do it. Could you please address them? Thank you.
Pennydrdful: I think it's unfair that I'm prevented from editing and contributing data to the Avenggers Academy community, I was wondering if I can get rid of that block? I promise to work the margin of the rules this time. Thank you.
Hi Pennydrdful, I could have sworn I responded to this, but it looks like my reply was deleted? If I remember correctly, I blocked Felipe06enero for a week and included the reason why I was banning them in the notice (that they were adding incorrect info to pages).
Felipe06enero, you are unblocked now. If you would like to edit the wiki correctly, you may do so.
