Nightshade's Rank 1 outfit is a purple midriff shirt with a pattern of nightshade flowers and black and white striped long sleeves, a purple and black plaid skirt, black belt with gold buckle, gold earrings, and black, high-heeled combat boots. Her hair is cut short and shaved on the sides.
Nightshade's Rank 3 outfit is a purple midriff top under a black jacket with a white fur collar and white dots on the sleeves, purple shorts, purple belt with gold buckle, fishnet hose, black boots, purple gloves, a gold necklace, and gold earrings. Her hair has purple streaks and is pulled up into two puffs.
Nightshade's Rank 5 outfit is a two-piece purple body suit, connected by fishnet hose over her midriff, multiple black belts with gold buckles crisscrossing over the suit, black boots, a long white, furry coat with purple nightshade flowers, printed on it, two gold necklaces, gold earrings, and gold sunglasses propped on her head. Her hair is very long and worn in a ponytail.
Story[]
Nightshade was released from prison for good behavior just before the Kingpin attacked New York. When the Avengers discovered that the Hand ninjas working for Kingpin are Life Model Decoys, Director Fury suspected Nightshade was working with Kingpin. When Director Fury confronted her, she denied it, arguing that Harlem's her home, and Kingpin stole her robot prototypes. She joined the Avengers, using them to make Kingpin pay for stealing her bots.
Misty Knight ran a background check on Nightshade's substantial criminal history, and warned the Avengers they may not be able to trust her. Luke Cage decided to keep her on the team anyway, arguing that she was too smart to cross them.

Nightshade once modified an Iron Legion Robot into a robot werewolf.
Kingpin[]
Kingpin stole some of Nightshade's robot prototypes, disguised them as Hand ninjas, and unleashed them on Harlem.
Misty Knight[]
After looking into Nightshade's criminal history, Misty Knight warned the Avengers they may not be able to trust her. Misty grew to like her, admiring her spunk.
