Firebird's Rank 1 appearance is a yellow shirt with the silhouette of a phoenix, a red, tasseled mini-skirt, a gold studded brown belt, gold bracelets, a red bolo tie, and brown cowboy boots.
Firebird's Rank 3 appearance is a tasseled yellow shirt with a red neckline and a red skirt with a brown belt. She wears knee-length yellow leggings under her skirt and brown and red cowboy boots. She also wears a red choker and a red sweatband.
Firebird's Rank 5 appearance is a tasseled yellow shirt with a red phoenix affixed to the front and short red sleeves, with a longer red skirt and yellow leggings. She wears red boots with yellow toes, tasseled red wrist cuffs, and a red sweatband.
Story[]
Bonita was taking lessons at a ballroom dance studio northeast of Albuquerque when she was engulfed by cold flames from a failed alien science experiment that plummeted from outer space. The radiation gave her powers, and she named herself after the mythological firebird, to be a symbol of hope and freedom.
She's also been a member of the Texas Rangers.
Firebird was tutoring students at Pet Avengers Academy when Tiger Shark and the Lemurians attacked, and imprisoned her. Once freed, she joined the Avengers. She sensed a significant heat source beneath the academy with her powers, and told Pepper Potts she intended on finding out what's behind it.

Loki tried to convince Firebird that he's in charge of Avengers Academy when she first joined. He challenged her to a dance off and she promptly beat him with her salsa skills.
Tiger Shark[]
Tiger Shark fought and captured Firebird when he led the Lemurians to attack Pet Avengers Academy.
