Wielder of the Ebony Blade, The Black Knight, aka Dane Whitman, is the antagonist of the British Invasion event and is a character you could recruit to your academy during the British Invasion event and Avengers Under Siege Event. His recruitment quest is Ancient Wisdom. His Mission Board Quests can be found here.

Story

When The Ebony Blade took control over the Black Knight, he was used to wreak havoc in Europe and capture Captain Britain and Union Jack. When the Black Knight went to Avengers Academy to supply more power for the Ebony Blade, the Academy students tried to stop him.

The Academy Students fought The Black Knight and freed him from the Black Knight's curse. He later became a student at Avengers Academy.

Requirements

British Invasion Event

Level 6 (to start event)
100 Chalices (earned by fighting the Black Knight), and defeat Black Knight in combat 5 times

Avengers Under Siege Event

1 chalice (drops from battling Carnage)
1,500 Credits

Upgrades

Each time Black Knight is upgraded, he gives +10% on Mission Board Quests.

Appearance

Black Knight's rank 1 is a half-mohawk hair. He has a t-shirt on a hawk symbol in it and his glove on the left hand. He has a short black jacket with shoulder pads in it, short black jean with the belt in it, and the black boots too.

Black Knight's rank 3 is his black and gold helmet, red, blue, and black armor with shoulder pads, black pant with a same gold line stripes on both and black belt, and a shiny black boots.

Black Knight's rank 5 is his Black Knight outfit with the ebony blade on the back.

A brainwashed Black Knight captured Captain Britain. He later helped free the Ebony Blade's control over the Black Knight.

Iron Man helped free the Ebony Blade's control over the Black Knight.
